Crystal Celt Greyhound Collar

Size Guide
How to measure your sighthound for a luxury leather dog collar

Whether you have a tiny Italian Greyhound, a Whippet, Greyhound, lurcher or any of the numerous breeds of sighthound, there's one thing you are probably painfully familiar with.

They are amazing collar escape artists.
Due to the shape of their necks they can easily back out of a poorly fitted collar, so a tailor made collar from Petiquette Collars will help eliminate this stressful part of walking these beautiful dogs.

How to measure your sighthound's neck

Rather than measuring the middle of the neck as you would with most dog breeds, it's essential to measure the narrowest part of the neck on a sighthound.
Follow our guide and check the photo for where you should measure your dog for a luxury leather dog collar.

Step 1

With your dog standing comfortably, wrap a soft tape measure, or piece of string if you don't have a tape measure, around the part of the neck at line B on the photograph.
The tape measure should be touching the fur but not constricting the neck.  Please don't add any fingers underneath the tape measure, as this can lead to incorrect sizing.

Step 2

Make a note of this measurement and take a look at the sizes available for our collars.  Choose the collar size which at it's smallest measurement is as close to the neck measurement you have just taken.
For example, if your dog's neck at line B measures approximately 11", then you would select an 11"-13" collar size.

Inspired by the sighthounds that appear in Celtic myths and legends, we’ve created one of our coolest greyhound collars – the Crystal Celt.

It’s a Celtic greyhound collar, but with added sparkle. This leather collar features a Celtic cross at its centre, flanked by genuine Swarovski crystals on either side of the cross.

Which colour leather would best suit your dog? Pick any shade from our huge range, then decide which colour crystal you’d like. The collar will be handmade to order in our Northumberland workshop.

All our greyhound collars are made from high-quality, soft Italian leather. For that all-important neck support, the fishtail shape measures 2” at its widest point and tapers to a 1” buckle and strap.

To cover any rough edges, the collar is lined with the same soft calf leather so it will fit like a glove and feel comfy from day one.

To finish the look...

How about a matching leather dog lead? It will be made from the same shade of Italian leather and if you like, we can add a row of Swarovski crystals to the base near the clip. Or if you prefer a more low-key look, you can always opt for a plain leather lead.

Our leather dog leads are around 1 metre in length and are available in a range of widths.

Leads are approx 1 metre long. Crystal leads will have the same colour crystals at the base of the lead

Customizations Total: £0.00
