This is a great choice if your little pooch makes you smile. For the Heart Eyed Emoji, we’ve taken the ever-popular smiley emoji as inspiration for one of our funkiest whippet collars.
The mustard yellow heart-eyed emoji is flanked by green leaves, all hand-sewn into place. The colour of the collar is entirely up to you. Just take a look at our huge range of contemporary leather shades and pick your favourite.
Your new whippet collar will be handmade in our Northumberland workshop using high-quality, glossy Italian leather. It will be fully lined in the same soft, supple leather to make sure it feels comfy for your dog.
It has been specially designed to support your whippet’s slender neck. The fishtail shape measures 1¾” at the widest point, tapering to a ¾” buckle and strap. It will fit like a glove, without being too bulky or heavy.
How about a matching lead?
A new lead will finish off the look perfectly. It will be made from the same colour of soft leather, with a handy D-ring in the handle so you can clip it round your waist or shoulder while your whippet is off lead.
All Petiquette handmade leather dog leads are approximately 1 metre in length and are available in a range of widths.
Choose from any of our Italian calf leathers to have your luxury leather sighthound collar made in. Whether you choose a traditional black or brown leather dog collar, or a bright lime green collar, we're sure you'll love the finished custom dog collar.

Measuring a sighthound for a collar
Step 1
If you have a sighthound such as an Italian Greyhound, Whippet, lurcher or Greyhound for example, rather than measuring around the middle of the neck, wrap the tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck.
Step 2
Make a note of this reading and then take a look at the sizes we offer for each of our bespoke collars.
We would recommend that you choose the collar size where the smallest hole would be as close to the neck measurement as possible.
For example
If your dog has a neck size of roughly 13.5”, then you should choose a 13” - 15” collar size. This will give enough room to tighten it should they lose a little weight, and it gives enough room to slacken it if needed.
