This leather and crystal whippet collar features two rows of glistening Swarovski crystals set into high-quality Italian leather.
It will be made entirely by hand in your choice of leather and crystal colours. Simply pick your favourites from our wide range of contemporary shades and we’ll make the collar to your exact specifications.
At Petiquette, we design all our dog collars for both comfort and durability. For a luxurious feel against your dog’s neck they are fully lined with soft calf leather, with gently rounded edges to prevent uncomfortable rubbing or hair loss.
Unlike cheaper versions, our collars have a robust leather core. This means that your collar will last the distance, while the Italian leather for the main body of the collar will become even softer as it gets older.
It’s important to support your whippet’s delicate neck, so we’ve designed this collar in afishtail shape, measuring 1¾” at its widest point and tapering to a ¾” buckle, strap and D-ring.
Do you need a new leather dog lead?
An Italian leather lead will complete the look perfectly. The crystallised version will have a row of Swarovski crystals at the base near the clip, or if you prefer a more understated look, go for the plain leather version.
These high-quality leather leads measure approximately 1 metre in length, with a D-ring on the handle so you can clip it round your shoulder while your dog is off the lead. They come in a range of widths, although for whippets we usually recommend either 5/8 or 3/4“.
We have sourced the finest Italian leather to make our luxury sighthound collars. Whether you prefer a traditional black collar or a vibrant jaffa orange leather collar, there is sure to be a colour that will match your dog's coat.
For a closer look at our colours, check out the colour options page.
We only use 100% genuine Swarovski crystals for our luxury sighthound collars, so you can be sure of the quality.
Choose a single colour or mix and match several to create a bespoke collar as individual as your dog.
Step 1
If you have a sighthound such as an Italian Greyhound, Whippet, lurcher or Greyhound for example, rather than measuring around the middle of the neck, wrap the tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck.
Step 2
Make a note of this reading and then take a look at the sizes we offer for each of our bespoke collars.
We would recommend that you choose the collar size where the smallest hole would be as close to the neck measurement as possible.
For example
If your dog has a neck size of roughly 13.5”, then you should choose a 13” - 15” collar size. This will give enough room to tighten it should they lose a little weight, and it gives enough room to slacken it if needed.
