Summer Flower Luxury Greyhound Collar

Size Guide
How to measure your sighthound for a luxury leather dog collar

Whether you have a tiny Italian Greyhound, a Whippet, Greyhound, lurcher or any of the numerous breeds of sighthound, there's one thing you are probably painfully familiar with.

They are amazing collar escape artists.
Due to the shape of their necks they can easily back out of a poorly fitted collar, so a tailor made collar from Petiquette Collars will help eliminate this stressful part of walking these beautiful dogs.

How to measure your sighthound's neck

Rather than measuring the middle of the neck as you would with most dog breeds, it's essential to measure the narrowest part of the neck on a sighthound.
Follow our guide and check the photo for where you should measure your dog for a luxury leather dog collar.

Step 1

With your dog standing comfortably, wrap a soft tape measure, or piece of string if you don't have a tape measure, around the part of the neck at line B on the photograph.
The tape measure should be touching the fur but not constricting the neck.  Please don't add any fingers underneath the tape measure, as this can lead to incorrect sizing.

Step 2

Make a note of this measurement and take a look at the sizes available for our collars.  Choose the collar size which at it's smallest measurement is as close to the neck measurement you have just taken.
For example, if your dog's neck at line B measures approximately 11", then you would select an 11"-13" collar size.

Inspired by the long hot days of summer, the Summer Flower luxury greyhound collar is one of our most eye-catching creations.

Flanked by delicate green leaves, the central flower is made from two hand-cut pieces of Italian calf leather, held in place by a dazzling Swarovski crystal.

The colours for this collar are entirely up to you. Take a look at our huge range of gorgeously rich, vibrant leather shades and pick a colour for the collar itself. Then choose two colours for the petals, and make your choice of crystal colour.

Be as creative as you like. Your new greyhound collar will be made by hand to your exact specifications.

All our greyhound collars are made from soft, supple Italian calf leather and fully lined with the same butter-soft calf leather. There are no rough edges, so the collar feels smooth and comfy from day one.

To support and protect the neck, our luxury greyhound collar measures 2" at the widest point, narrowing to a 1” buckle, strap and D-ring.

To finish the summer look...

We can make a leather dog lead in the same colour as your collar. It will be made by hand from luxuriously soft Italian leather so it will feel as good as it looks.

Our leather leads are around 1 metre long and are available in four widths.
