If you want to turn heads as you walk your dog, the Royal Splendour Swarovski dog collar is one of our most exquisite collar designs.
It sparkles and glistens like the Crown jewels. Rows of dazzling xilion square-cut Swarovski crystals are set alongside smaller crystals above and below. The xilion crystals have been specially designed by Swarovski for maximum sparkle.
As your dog moves, you’ll see a breathtaking multicoloured light show as the crystals catch the light.
Each Regal Splendour dog collar is custom-designed. Take your pick from dozens of leather colours, then get creative with the two crystal colours. We’ll make it to your specification so it will be entirely unique.
Your dog will love this collar as much as you do. Handmade from lightweight Italian leather, then lined with super-soft calf leather, it feels comfortable against your dog’s neck from day one. As the collar ages, it gets even softer.
Does your old lead look a bit dull?
Treat yourself to a matching leather dog lead. You can order it in classic leather, or have the same pattern of sparkling crystals at the base of the lead.
How to measure your dog's neck for a leather dog collar
Every leather dog collar that we make is tailor made to fit your dog’s neck like a glove, with enough room to tighten or loosen to allow for differences due to grooming. No more annoying flaps of leather that look unsightly and more often than not get chewed on.
It really couldn't be easier to measure your dog’s neck for a handmade leather dog collar from Petiquette Collars. All you will need is a soft tape measure or a piece of string, a pen and paper, and perhaps most importantly, your dog.
The MOST important thing to take into account when measuring though is DO NOT MEASURE THE TOTAL LENGTH OF AN EXISTING COLLAR. This will lead to an incorrect sized collar.
Petiquette Collars generally cover a 2" - 3" neck size range. So for example, a 10" - 12" collar. The first hole would be 10" from the buckle, and the last hole would be 12" from the buckle. Please see the image below for a visual representation.
We are always happy to help when it comes to choosing the size for your dog collar to ensure the perfect fit for your canine friend. If you are in any doubt, please contact us.
Measuring your dog for a classic collar
Have your dog stand comfortably, hopefully they won’t wriggle too much, but if they do, then bribery with some tasty treats can help. Wrap the tape measure or piece of string around the middle of your dog’s neck so that it is touching the fur but is not tight around the neck.
Make a note of this reading and then take a look at the sizes we offer for each of our bespoke collars.
We would recommend that you choose the collar size where the smallest hole would be as close to the neck measurement as possible.
If your dog has a neck size of roughly 13.5”, then you should choose a 13” - 15” collar size. This will give enough room to tighten it should they lose a little weight, and it gives enough room to slacken it if needed.
Measuring a sighthound for a collar
If you have a sighthound such as an Italian Greyhound, Whippet, lurcher or Greyhound for example, rather than measuring around the middle of the neck, wrap the tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck.
As with our classic collars would recommend that you choose the collar size where the smallest hole is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
If you are measuring for a house collar, we would advise that you measure further down the neck, so that the collar will hang fairly loosely.

I ordered collars for Bonnie and Nellie and they are beautiful and excellent quality
They are the most beautiful collars but a little tight on my dogs i thought they would be longer. In fact they only just fit 😢
